The Franchise Dossier
Established in 2021 to compete at the peak of divisional trial cricket in Madhya Pradesh under the Rewa Division Cricket Association (RDCA).
Destroyers Cricket Club (DES) was founded in 2021 as a premier divisional franchise created to test elite talent from Rewa, Jabalpur, Bhopal, and the broader Madhya Pradesh state pool in high-pressure derby cricket.
Competing in the annual Atal Bihari Vajpayee Memorial Tournament under captain Pranav Dwivedi, Destroyers forged an immediate, ferocious rivalry with Dread Eleven (DE), led by Akhil Mishra.
The franchise reached unprecedented heights across the 2024, 2025, and 2026 seasons—capturing the 2024 series 4–1, executing a historic 5–0 clean sweep in 2025, and defending the championship in a thriller 3–2 in 2026 under captain Pranav Dwivedi to cement an iconic three-peat.
Sanctioned under the Rewa Division Cricket Association (RDCA), affiliated with the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Matches are hosted at the iconic Awadhesh Pratap Singh University Stadium (10,000 capacity turf) and historic Martand School Ground No. 3 in Rewa.
Statutory Governance • RDCA Mandates
Destroyers Cricket Club strictly adheres to the 14 statutory tournament regulations and modern playing amendments codified by the Rewa Division Cricket Association (RDCA). Captain Pranav Dwivedi and team management incorporate key tactical adjustments for complex rule changes:
Fielding side must commence the final over by scheduled cutoff. Failure incurs an immediate fielding restriction (only 4 fielders allowed outside the 30-yard circle for all subsequent overs).
Bowlers must be ready within 60 seconds between overs. Two warnings are allowed per innings; a 3rd breach costs a 5-run penalty awarded to the opposition.
Strict compliance with the 15-degree elbow extension limit. Biomechanical 3D motion analysis applies to any reported bowling action under RDCA oversight.
Full communication blackout in dressing rooms from 60 minutes pre-toss until post-match. Zero smartwatches or mobile devices permitted in team areas.
